"We, Nelson, Calvin, and Austin from SMP Petra 5, are incredibly grateful for our victory in the 2021 SEC Competition. The journey to becoming the first-place winner was not easy, but with solid teamwork and support from our teachers and friends, we managed to prove that with hard work and prayer, anything is possible. Initially, we didn't expect to win considering the high level of competition. However, an unyielding spirit and belief in our abilities motivated us to keep fighting until the end." 

Dear Travejes Friends, Great news from SMP Kristen Petra 5! Our students have once again achieved remarkable achievements, especially in the National Student Olympiad in conjunction with Financial Day. Astrid Tanuwijaya (94), Jason Hermawan (95), Josefina Citra Kristiato (95), Jocelyn Amabella Nugroho (82), and Nevan managed to win silver and bronze medals. This outstanding achievement proves that Petra 5 students have extraordinary potential in various fields, including economics.

"I, Calvin Tanardhi Setiawan, a seventh-grade student at SMP Petra 5, had the opportunity to participate in the Robokidz Robot Olympiad 2022. This national-level robotics competition served as a platform for me to apply my knowledge of robotics. Utilizing the Lego EV3 Mindstorm robot kit, I designed and programmed a robot to tackle various predetermined challenges. The intensive two-month preparation process equipped me with valuable skills in the field of robotics."

"The journey to create the 70th anniversary logo for PPPK Petra was an exciting yet challenging adventure. Among the many students of SMP Kristen Petra 5, I, Jason Kuning Putro, was fortunate enough to be a part of this journey. The limited time and the demand for original ideas made me think hard. However, with the support of my homeroom teacher and my supervising teachers, Bu Bintang and Pak Estron, my spirit continued to burn brightly. Finally, after going through various creative processes, I managed to create a logo that I hope will make the school proud."

"At the beginning of last year, my friend's invitation to participate in the 2021 S2LC Biology branch made me hesitate. As a 9.6 grade student at SMP Kristen Petra 5, my busy exam schedule made preparation time feel very short. However, with the support of my Biology teacher and a burning desire to win, I finally decided to join. Even though I only had about a week to study, I tried my best by practicing solving Biology Olympiad questions."
