Petra 5 Christian Middle School is one of the schools that is part of PPPK Petra. PPPK Petra itself is a Christian Association which was founded on April 22 1951. As time went by, interest and development in education was greatly needed in society, so on July 1 1987 Petra 5 Christian Middle School was founded, located in Jemur Andayani XVII/2. Drs. Onis Simus Musooli was the first principal at Petra 5 Christian Middle School, he served for 10 years. In 1998 the leadership was continued by Drs. Budi Wijanto, who served for two years. In 2000 it was continued by Mr. I Gusti Njoman Djoena, one year later continued by Ir. Agus Kisworo, M.Pd until 2004. In 2004-2005 the leadership was continued by Dra. Hanna Herawati. Petra 5 Christian Middle School continues to grow, Dra. Hariati Santoso, M.Pd led until 2009. In 2009, Dra. Ni Nyoman Panji P.S., M.M continued his leadership for 7 years. The principal of Petra 5 Christian Middle School from 2016 until now is Drs. Ngatmin M.Si.
