Nipmuc Justice Coalition works toward equality by engaging with the community beyond Nipmuc High School to bring positive change. Outreach is a key part of our strategy because it allows change to happen beyond the walls of our school. By working with individuals in the community as well as local groups we are able to encourage justice in the towns of Mendon and Upton.
We engage in communiity outreach by applying the work of Nipmuc Justice Coalition outside of our school building. NJC is organizes community events such as demonstrations, partnering with local groups who have similar goals, and by collaborating with the Nipmuc Nation about our school name and mascot.
