Model UN

Model UN is an extracurricular activity in which students must research a country and be prepared to represent that country in a Model United Nations conference. Students will make decisions about topics, such as atomic energy or human rights, from the point of view of the country that they represent. Students will also be required to write a position paper outlining their country's position on certain issues. The LHS sponsor for Model UN is Mrs. Dinkins (patriciadinkins@lowndes.k12.ga.us). Model UN meets in Mrs. Dinkin’s room. The registration dues for Model UN are $35 and the deadline to pay is November 1st, 2023.
