The Lowndes High school Interact club is a club affiliated with Rotary. The main goal of Interact is to help give back to our local community. Throughout the year there are many different activities in which students can earn community service hours. Anyone is welcome to join this club and earn their community service hours. Some of the ongoing community service projects that are happening right now are the school supply drive and the school wide food drive. If you are interested in the Interact club, the club sponsors are Mrs. Bellflower (kcbellflower@lowndes.k12.ga.us) and Mrs. West (maggiewest@lowndes.k12.ga.us).
Impact Updates
Interact club is now going by the name Impact. The Impact club still has the same goals focused around community service opportunities for any and all students who are interested. There are many different opportunities given to the students in this club to donate items, money, or time in events throughout the school year. This month Impact is hosting a Socktober and Sweet Dreams drive. We will be collecting items such as socks, slippers, blankets, pajamas, small pillows, and other related items. We are trying to see how much we can impact our community this month. We encourage everyone to get involved in this month’s drive and gain community service hours for your help.
