According to MIT, women make up only 28% of the STEM workforce.
STEM contains a plethora of amazing women who, unfortunately, don’t get as much recognition or credit as their male counterparts despite their innovative ideas and dedication to their field.
For short-term successes, our team aims to cultivate a tight-knit community. During the camp, the girls we teach will be engaged in a supportive and encouraging environment that fosters friendships and personal growth through social interactions and exploring STEM activities. With the interactive activities planned throughout our STEM event, students will be challenged to think outside the box and collaborate with peers to reach an optimal solution and apply the knowledge they have learned. Moreover, these students will learn to share their ideas freely and collaborate with people different from themselves. We intend for students to feel inspired and thoroughly enjoy the best of STEM.
