Art Lesson: The Element of Texture: Start May 4th- May 8th ( )

Art Lesson: The Element of Color: Start May 11th-May 16th ( )

Art Lesson: Review/”Connect/Ketchup”: Start May 18th - May 22nd Final Grade Submission

&

Art Appreciation : SUBMIT 1 assignment: Weekly Essential Art Question and

1 assignment: Weekly Art Word_Quote_Sketch/Draw Prompts


Total: 3 assignments assigned per week



PLEASE NOTE : Weekly Art appreciation art assignments are to have been completed weekly to receive feedback and full credit for assignment submission requirements per week. Only the current week and a front-loaded week is available weekly throughout the quarter. (Previous 2 or more weeks are no longer accessible via website. Young artist that have not been following weekly will not receive credits for these assignments).


Below are the remaining Weekly Art Appreciation assignments w/ dates to be complete in both of these weekly sections.

Art Appreciation: Start May 4th- May 8th (Weekly Essential Art Question/ and May 4th- May 8th Weekly Art Word_Quote_Sketch/Draw Prompts (Follow prompt and complete for this week in both sections ) Total: 2 assignments

AND

Art Appreciation: Start May 11th-May 16th ( Weekly Essential Art Question/ and May 11th-May 16th (Weekly Art Word_Quote_Sketch/Draw Prompts)

( Follow prompt and complete for this week in both sections ) Total: 2 assignments

Please take a picture or create Google Doc upload art assignments and email complete BOTH Art Appreciation Weekly Assignments to respective Art Teachers.

NEW Things you need to know for this quarter:

All work should be turned as an e-mail attachment to your Art Teacher.

(Just take a picture of your art work and weekly art prompts and upload.)


  1. ALL K-4 Weekly Art Lessons are required weekly (unless otherwise stated on the web-page or "Live"on Wednesday ).

Example: Use computer camera, cell phone etc, take a picture and upload complete project for the week to your respective Art Teacher , email is located below.)


  1. All K-4 YOUNG ARTIST : are required to submit ONE : Weekly 4 Essential Art Questions per Week .

Example : There are 4 questions on the Google Slide , Parents/Siblings have a brief discussion with our young artist about the "Artists of the Week" and "The Art Lesson of the Week" maybe while enjoying a meal or out and about . Record or take a picture of your responses on a piece of paper or a Google doc, upload for the weeks assignment, and email to your respective Art Teacher. Emails are located below. Reminder previous weeks famous artist prompts are always deleted so be sure to make that connection or view that weeks famous artist prompt even if its just for a sec. Its OK to respond from memory once the week has pass and still submit for credit.


  1. ALL K-4 YOUNG ARTIST: are required to submit ONE completed Weekly Art/Quote/Sketch_Draw slide per week.

Example: Use the weekly "Art/Quote/Sketch_Draw" practice art literacy and response with your young artist. Review the Google slide together follow prompt. This is an opportunity for young artist to take notes , practice art literacy and build on current weeks art skills in their Sketchbook independently . Upload "Art/Quote/Sketch_Draw" for the weeks assignment and send to your respective Art Teacher. Reminder previous weeks prompts are always deleted so be sure to make that connection or view that weeks famous artist prompt even if its just for a sec. Its OK to respond from memory once the week has pass and still submit for credit.
