A common access card, or CAC is used to enter base, log into your computer, access post facilities, and much more. It is essential that you get your CAC as soon as possible. As a new employee, it may take a few days for your information to process in the system.
If you are a new government employee, without a CAC:
Bring information such as your travel orders, forms of government ID (passport/drivers license), and SSN Card.
Please make sure you have ORIGINAL copies of items like SSN card, marriage certificates and birth certificates.

Transferring DoDEA employee:
As soon as possible, go to RAPIDS Appointment Scheduler (link below)
Click on "Make an Appointment"
Go to the bottom of the page and in the drop down menu select Puerto Rico from the "Find the OCONUS Identification Card Issuance Office" choices.
Search RAF Lakenheath for location, you will select the Bldg 977 address
Select the date and time for your appointment.
A confirmation will be sent to you
