Belgium law does have some distinctives regarding housing and leases. You will be required to attend a housing briefing at your local installation. The housing office will also review and issue your official lease.

If you have been authorized a Living Quarters Allowance, you can find FAQ here and rates here. You can initiate your LQA entitlement payments through DAPS (Internet Explorer only). You will also initiate your Post Allowance (PA) entitlement at the same time. You cannot receive both TQSA and LQA/PA concurrently.

Once your household goods arrive, a local moving company will contact you to arrange for a delivery date. A property representative from your local installation will also be involved.
