this is master chief petty officer Jon, spartan 117. he is the main character in halo. he is a spartan gen 2. when he was a young boy on Eridanus II, he spent his days palying and learning everything a 6 year old needs to. one day, Office of navel intelligence civilian consultant, doctor Catharine halsey, went under cover and went to watch Jon as he played King of the hill. after liuatnenet keys recorded Jon playing a game with doctor halsey. they then kidnaped him along with 75 other kids from various planets. then after long years of training with chief petty officer Mendez, he was generically augmented and was given mandatory down time. he then thought for several days about all the Spartans who died during the augmentation. now there were only 36 Spartans. he was forced fight 4 ODST marines in a boxing ring. he won, and killed 2 of them. his first mission was to kill an inserectshonist general in non UNSC controlled space. after the fall of reach, he and the crew on the ship Pillar of Odem set a random slip pace vector and jumped away from earth. they exited in a random system. they found a fourruner artifact (see fouruuner race) called HALO insolation 04. they encountered an artificial intelligence called guilty spark 343. later, a parasites' called the flood emerged from halo. this was bad because they were already fighting the alien faction known as the covenant, whom the fled from reach. then after a long war on HALO, he blew halo up. then he returned he started his journey to earth, but on the way he met up with Sargent major Johnson. then they rallied all the survivors and hijacked a covenant ship. then they were able to get going. on they way had a an encounter with the covenant in slip space. then they found an old destroyed UNSC ship called the Gettysburg. they salvage repair, and managed to get home. after some rest and repair, the covenant got to earth earth. master chief was receiving awards for his service on halo, when a covenant battle group emerged from slipase. the covenant boarded the Cairo rail gun station. they were trying to plant a bomb on the station. master chief took it back by flying through space with the bomb and flew threw the ship, he left the bomb behind. it blew up destroying the covenant ship. master chief met up with Sargent major and Maranda keys. they flew to earth and master chief began to work on alien's ground forces. he moved through old mambasa and engaged ground forces through out the city. he destroyed a scarab tank. (see vehicles) he and a small group of unsc forces found delta halo. (see forerunners) they engaged the covoanet on delta halo. master chief killed the prophet regret on delta halo. he was taken by the Grevemind. there he met thel 'vadem. (see main characters) the arbiter. they were separated, and master chief was sent to high charity, (see locations) master chief found a flood infastation on high charity, the prophet of mercy on high charity was killed by the flood. master chief then made it onto a forerunner ship on high charity that powered the city and was leaving. when he got to earth he jumped out of ship and landed in Africa. he was rescued by Sargent major and a small party of marines.
