Materials needed- Two objects of different sizes to be passed around the circle
Before performing any energizer make sure to model expected behavior to your students. Make sure that instructions are clear and brief.
Actions
"The smaller object is the bunny; the larger one is the farmer. Begin in a circle in your meeting area or around the perimeter of the classroom. Assign a student to time the chase and start the bunny around the circle. About halfway through the circle start the farmer in the same direction. The farmer may change directions to try to chase the bunny but the bunny can only move in one direction. The farmer catches the bunny the game is over. The goal is to catch the bunny in the quickest time."

A quick and easy energizer that you can do with almost any grade! Students will stay at their seats and the teacher will think of some common things that the students know. These things can be any noun or idea. Some ideas can be foods, TV shows, video games, etc. The teacher will name each thing that they chose to discuss one at a time and the students will use their hands to tell everyone if they love it, like it, or hate it.
If the students love the thing, they will make a heart with their hands.
If the students like the thing they can put their hands in a shrug.
If the students hate the thing they can make an X with their hands.
For students who may not be able to make shapes with their hands, the teachers can print out some images or the student could say the words verbally.
This is a great energizer for students to see what they have in common

This energizer is very simple. Have students stand in a circle somewhere in the room.
Describe to students that we can understand people not only through words but also through body language.
Explain that we will be playing an energizer named silent ball. We will be throwing a ball around the circle. No one is allowed to talk. Make sure to throw the ball only to someone who hasn't had it yet. The game will end when everyone has had the ball.

Tell the students that we will be setting the table for dinner.
In a circle have each student say what they will be adding to the table. Tell the students that they can not put the same item on the table twice. The game ends when everyone has said their item.

This can be a great energizer for math class. Students will sit in their seats and they will "pop up" if they hear a certain number.
Students can pop up if they hear a number that contains a certain number, or if they hear a number with a specific property.
For example, students can pop up if they hear a number that is a multiple of another number, or if a number includes a zero. Read off or count numbers for as long as you desire.

The Never Ending word is a very simple energizer to use in the classroom
Have students stand in a circle.
Begin the energizer by telling the students that they will be making a Never Ending word.
Begin the game by giving the students a word. Tell the student standing next to you in the circle that they must say a word that begins with the last letter of your word. Have the students continue this through the circle until everyone has participated in the Never Ending word.

This is a great energizer to do if you are teaching angles in math.
Students should stand at their desks if they are able. List off different degrees of angles and have the students model these angles with their arms like a human protractor.
Name as many angles as you think fit.
