Hawaii Service Trip

In April of 2022, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to travel to Hawaii. This service-based trip was organized through the Global Pathways program in partnership with Rustic Pathways. We stayed in a hostel on the big island, participating in a variety of experiences, including, but certainly not limited to,  some of the following highlights:  

--> Pu'uhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park

-->Snorkeling off a catamaran in the coral reefs 

--> Volcano National Park

-->Rainbow Falls and Hilo Farmers Market (Hilo)

-->Service at Hue Hue Ranch

Israel Trip

In July of  2023, I was able to travel with my summer camp on a month-long trip to Israel through a BBYO summer program. While in Israel we had the opportunity to travel up and down the country, staying in a variety of different hostels and hotels. Our travel group consisted of other Jewish teens from all over the US and the world. While in Israel, we learned about our own Jewish heritage as well as the cultures of other groups in the area. Some highlights of the trip included:

--> Old City of Jerusalem (Western Wall)

-->Jordan River rafting trip

-->Snorkleing in the Red Sea

-->Dead Sea 

-->Mount Masada 

-->Tour of Knesset(Parliament of Israel)

-->Yad Vashem Word Holocaust Museum
