Hi! My name is Delia Joyner. In the Global Pathways program, I have learned a lot about the world around us and how our actions have direct impacts. At the high school, I have been a three-season athlete since my freshman year, playing on the hockey, soccer, and track teams. Outside of school, I have a part-time job teaching swim lessons to kids ages 3-10. I am a counselor at my summer camp, I am on the board of my local youth group chapter (BBYO), and I volunteer at my temple's religious school. I have been so lucky to be able to participate in Global Pathways programs and trips over the last 4 years, and I can't wait to share my experiences with you!
In the fall I will be attending the University of Alabama to study kinesiology on a pre-medicine track. I plan to continue on to medical school, where I hope to become a sports medicine physican. My interest in this field has been sparked by personal experince in the world of sports medicine, combined with the research I have been able to conduct through my senior capstone project.
