For as long as I can remember, I have been passionate about the environment. Since I was seven years old, I have participated in my neighborhood's annual spring clean-up where we clean the streets and woods around our neighborhood. The past few years I have had the opportunity to plan my own neighborhood cleanup, along with others in my community. Recycling and taking care of the world that we live in is something that is extremely important to me.

My lebanese culture is part of my identity. I have been going to Lebanon every year since I was born (missing only 2020 due to the pandemic). While there, I love to admire the beauty of my country, but unfortunately with the pollution and lack of sustainable recycling options, the country's beauty tends to be dulled.
