Deliver 

Description: This presentation was the first one in our leap group. We researched an invention during the 1920s and explained its significance today. We chose the Traffic light becasue we felt like it was essential at the time of its invention but it is also vital to traveling today. 

Reflection: I think that we worked very efficiently and completed the project quickly. I think that we had a good story arch from historical context, to how it developed, to how it's used today, to how it will be used in the future. My group could work on our presenting skills and our intro and conclusion. We struggled to exit out of our information and I don't think we need the video. 

Description: We were tasked with collecting 10 things that we have done in the past 4 or so years that we feel are failures. This exercise allowed us to understand that nobody is perfect and that the mistakes that we made have allowed us to become a better version of ourselves. 

Reflection: This exercise was a great opportunity for me to reflect on my past years. I also am one who struggles with accepting myself and letting things go. But I feel like after this activity I was able to be more forgiving of myself and acknowledge my mistakes as well as how I have grown from them.    

My moth story was about a shift that I worked this past summer at Good Day Cafe in North Andover. I described the crazy storm that happened this summer which flooded the cafe.  The cafe was destroyed and needed to be rebuilt. I ended my story by telling them that the cafe is now reopening this week for the first time since this storm. 

I felt confident while presenting my story because I knew it well. That being said I explained it differently in front of the class than I did when I was practicing it. I enjoyed my story more when I was practicing it because I embellished certain details and left other ones out. In my actual presentation, I took a different approach and i didn't love the way it came out. 

I worked over the course of a week to edit and revise my introduction as well as my Review of Literature. This final draft will be shown to a pannel of experts as they evaluate my project.
