With deep knowledge in areas such as communications, innovation, and business strategy, their expertise covers the full spectrum of what it takes to thrive in today’s competitive market.
Tommy White is the Director of the Veloric Center for Entrepreneurship at American University's Kogod School of Business. With over 11 years of experience as a Senior Professorial Lecturer, he has taught over 1,500 students in undergraduate and graduate courses focused on business, entrepreneurship, and startup ventures. Additionally, Tommy is an active angel investor and mentor, contributing to the DMV startup ecosystem and supporting early-stage companies.
Alana Kasindorf
Alana Kasindorf is a Social Impact Manager at Nestlé, where she leads initiatives focused on upskilling the next generation of talent and driving social impact. With a background in strategic communications and a passion for community engagement, she brings a data-driven approach to program development and cross-sector partnerships. Alana holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Communications from American University.
Dan McCabe is an intrapreneurial leader and senior manager at Nestlé, specializing in community affairs and social impact initiatives. With extensive experience in program development, strategic partnerships, and cause marketing, Dan has successfully driven revenue and positive change across nonprofits, startups, and major corporations.
Danielle Vogel, who joined Kogod's Management Department faculty in 2022, brings a wealth of experience in both entrepreneurship and sustainability. She teaches courses focusing on the intersection entrepreneurship and sustainability. In addition to her academic role, she serves as the Assistant Director of the Veloric Center for Entrepreneurship, where she plays a key role in running the AU Business Incubator.
