About Me
Hi, my name is Natalie Rigg, I'm 17 years old and I am a Senior at Westview High School in San Diego, California. Currently, I am the Co-President of the AVID executive team where I am able to demonstrate my leadership and social skills. I am also the president our Westview AVID book club where I plan club meetings and fundraisers. I value my time with my family and friends and I often babysit kids in my neighborhood. Additionally, my family is apart of the deaf community, which means I am fluent in sign language. I also have partial hearing loss and I am deaf in my right ear. Right now, I am focused on advancing my academic career by taking multiple AP classes and becoming fluent in the French language.

One achievement I have obtained is being apart of AVID Executive team where I can show my leadership skills and help my classmates. I am proud of this because, I was able to find the confidence to get involved in new things and meet new people, which was something I used to struggled with.

I believe that I am very social, open minded and empathetic to new people in my community. I love meeting new people and learning new things about them. Due to this aspect I feel I would be very flexible in any work environment I might come across.

My goal in the future is to be successfully accepted into the University of San Francisco and double major in International Business as well as French. I also hope to study abroad in France my junior year of college to be able to travel and experience the world.Â
