"We create multimedia tools that educators, students, and communities can use to engage in a critical history of race and racism in America"
Self-Evident Education is a digital humanities resource for educators of American history that will encourage educators and students to think critically about the role of race and institutional racism throughout United States history. Self-Evident Education creates highly engaging, multimedia, educational tools that educators, students, and communities can use to critically engage in conversations to understand the histories and the legacies of systemic racism in the United States. Interns have opportunities to build a library of content through filming and editing content to contribute to polished high-quality films. Interns interested in history and social justice topics are tasked with archive research, interviewing and ethnographic research.
