Northampton Baseball & Softball League

Brief Description

The objective of the Northampton Baseball & Softball is to instill in the youth of the greater Northampton community a love of the game by building a foundation of baseball and softball skills that will allow for spirited and fair competition. Interns will be a part of the outreach and marketing team, reaching out to the Northampton community recruiting players/families and creating awareness of the programs we offer. Interns will help with social media, website updates and other marketing strategies within Northampton to promote NBSL.

**Typically a Spring Internship that has opportunities to continue into the Summer**

Common Job Responsibilities

Support marketing & outreach plan for the Northampton Baseball and Softball League.
develop outreach strategies and manage Facebook and Instagram accounts
Attend community sporting events to capture relevant content
Organize a digital library of pictures and videos.

Create and manage content for NBSL blog, coach and player spotlights and season highlights.
Manage press releases and newspaper promotions.
Manage email/database outreach of news, updates and events via email to NBSL members.

Participate in organizing and promoting events - pizza nights, tournaments and play-offs.
Collaborate with NBSL board to create a strong community identity.
