For this unit we had to learn how to 👩💻code👩💻 and make a game🎮. We used a website call MIT App Inventor, this website teaches how to code with apps you can make or make own apps. ✨A GAME EVERYONE WHOS HAS A 👽ANDROID CAN PLAY✨. Sorry apple users😢🍎. Just get a QR code app and download it.
The Process
This screen shows what are your things to have put and their names. For some reason spaces don't work as the computer can't tell what is it, so we have to use underscores. The media screen shows all the media you have added to the program. As for the name of the appearance bar speaks for it self. It tells you what it going to look like on the app when you download it. You can also put text.
This screen shows you all things that you can add into your app and it's put into sections off of what they do and what they look like. It makes it very easy to find and use. If you press the question mark it tells you what it does.
Hello Codi
For our first app we did the Hello Codi! but I didn't want to do the bee so I did me and when you press me. It makes a sheep noise. My app got very annoying because of the person I sit next. He takes it and presses it a bunch it gets really annoying but funny.
Talk To Me
For talk to me, we had to make a text box where you can type and if you press talk to me it will say it. As for the 2 little ones, I thought that it would be funny to say to do tax 💰evasion💰. 😅
Ball Bounce
We had to make a ball that could be flung around when a finger touched it and swiped. We didn't have to add text, but I thought again that it would be funny if I made the ball ask for mercy.
Paint Pot
For Paint Pot we started just with a blank canvas with only black to draw with. We then had to add more colors and a coloring page. Mr.Hicks side that we had to make our colors say their names instant of having them have their names on them. He then said we should make a mute button and a unmute button. Some people didn't know how to make a button be gone and have a different one come. AND OFCOUSE I HAD TO DO BUNGO STRAY DOGS. I started just with Chuuya then started to add more. (I think I did to much lol) We had been told to make a small button and big button for the brush size but I thought might as well go straight to the sider. We also were told to make a button for magic where it went to a bunch of different colors. Some people did a make your own colors and a colored canvas, but I thought that it was too much.
