Annabel Woodworth - Vector Art

This is my sample graphic. To make it, we used Adobe Illustrator to make long black lines. (which are actually stretched triangles) Then, we used the shape tool to make circles🔴 on top of the lines. We filled the circles in with different gradient colors. The gradient colors and the black outline help make it look 3D.

These are my recolored sample graphics. First, we deleted the lines in the background of the big sample graphic. Then we made the circles smaller and copied them so we would have multiple. After that, we changed the color by changing the position of the dots in the color wheel/spectrum. 🌈I made a lot!

Reusing a circle from our sample graphic, we made emojis! In Adobe Illustrator, we gave them eyes using circles on top of circles. Of course, they're gradients. We gave them mouths, noses, anything you want. We used textured brushes to give our emojis all sorts of eyebrows. After that, we used our different brushes to give them hair. As you can see, one of my emojis has black and purple hair. I also made a dog emoji, but I didn't have time to finish it. If you look closely, the ears don't have a gradient and the mouth isn't filled.

After we finished our emoji faces, we gave them simple bodys. We used Adobe Illustrator (once again) tro make simple gradient arms, legs, and torsos. Then . . .

WE ANIMATE!!! Using Adobe After Effects, we took our emoji and their bodies and made them walk, wave, and move. My emoji rolls his eyes, winks, raises his eyebrows, waves, and then walks back and forth. When you animate, you have to keyframe, which is selecting a layer (specific body part) and telling the program to make it move/rotate from one place to another. Then repeat the process with the rest of your animation creation. 🙂

This is an extra emoji project of mine. A previous student, Renlee Garcia, discovered how to make these in Adobe Illustrator and made a tutorial. You use the shape tool to draw a face, (circle)a solid background, mouth, (oval) and eyes (circles, hearts, stars). Then you use this tool that inflates your drawing. After that, you just have to adjust the light and the shadows.💡

This is my monster! I drew it in Mr. Wayment's ELAR class. We got to draw unique monsters and give them very long, scientific names. MIne is called: Erythbicornuspentacyclomalanodoalariumhexbrachioalbdecadentmonocaudcyanoverdepentapediporphuroplumoid.❓

That name means: two red horns, five eyes, two black wings, six arms, white teeth, one tail, five teal legs, purple feathered creature. THAT'S A LOT!!
