After a lot of hard work we finally finished with our favorite things video and was able to start creating in Adobe After Effects, and Illustrator.

Starting Circles

This is the first thing we made using the circle gradient and line tool to create a high resolution image. We edited the line so it had different widths at different points to make it look like someone punched a circle in.

These where the first thing we made bullseyes it was only the beginning though. We used the gradient tool to make it look 3D.

Using the circles I created a dog emoji using the blob, shape, and gradient tools. Creating the smallest circles into eyes and the largest one for the face.

Playing Around

We also made a bird house to practice using tools like pencil shape and connecting shapes.

This was practice using shapes, pucker, blot, roughen etc.

and all came together to create something we call shape sampler.

We in ELAR drew things called root word monsters they had long names made from root words mine was called a "Hextpedbialehexoculoechinurabikeratechidorsbiotomonocaptunodecidactylooid" yeah that long.

Then in Adobe illustrator we went over it giving it more color and a better look. Using most of the tools available to me. Then we exported it to adobe after effects to animate.

At first when we where still getting used to the controls we made a low quality GIP. it has a quality of around 500-600 pixels that can be change using the adobe media encoder; that's actually how I got it here from after effects.
