About me
I am a 6th grade middle school student. I attend Ed White middle school, and part of the DATA magner program for higher education. DATA stands for Design and technology academy. my elective is art, which I attend in my first period. I take two required tech classes in DATA, which are Multi Media, And Tech apps. I also have a science course, Math, ELAR where im in GT, social studies, which are all required to be honors to be in DATA. I also have a health and pre-Athletics course. In DATA, 6th graders can't participate in sports, so you learn about them in pre-athletics so you may play them in 7th and 8th grade.
I really like being in this magnet program, and my experience here so far has been great. i've still got 2 more years until im finished, so lets see how the rest of the years go.
About DATA
DATA is a magnet program for more advanced learning. to get in you have to enter and have at least and 85 average from your previous school. then they take your name and put it in a raffle, where you just have to hope that they pick you. unless you have a sibling already in DATA, then you don't need to do the raffle, just good grades. Since its a magnet program, its like an attachment to Ed White. Because of this, all of the classes besides the Tech ones are outside in portables. don't worry, they are just like classrooms. they have light and AC, they're just outside. '
We Have 6 DATA Classes, Which are Math, ELAR, Science, Social Studies, Multi Media, and Tech apps. we also have one elective of our choice.
DATA is a design program, so if you're interested In things art, design, photoshop, 3D modeling/printing, coding and much more then DATA is the program for you.
