Fear should not be used to manipulate people against their will because it makes them careless of others. Using fear to manipulate people never works just think about it. Who do you know that used fear not to gain absolute power regardless if it worked, especially if the citizens had to give up property rights, ect.

Vladamir Putin entered politics in 1991 and became the deputy mayor of St. Petersburg Vladamir Putin used that position to give special treatment to his allies in the private sector. He quickly becomes a favorite with the oligarchs. Russia launches a popular and devastating war in Chechnya and less than a year he brings Chechnay under his control. In 1999 Yeltsin suddenly resigned from his presidency Vladamir Putin won the election and put oligarchs under him and those who supported Putten were rewarded those who didn’t were removed. He used his political power to make people submit or to remove those who didn't.

Kim Jon Un uses fear, propaganda, and political power to frighten and control his nation. Kim Jon Un has secret police to monitor his people as he also shows violent displays of brutality and executions by law enforcement to keep his people in check. If anyone disrespects Kim Jon un their family and multiple generations will be put into concentration camps where they are brutally tortured.

Hitler used fear, anger, and propaganda to rise to power. He used Germany why because “Germany was angry at the Treaty of Versailles which ended World War 1 and was massively skewed to punish Germany.” which left Germany poor. The people couldn't take their anger off the higher powers who did this. He exploited the Germans and made it seem like he was the only solution. He helped make newspapers and a movie depicting Jews as evil and less than human. Hitler indoctrinated kids when they were young and when parents refused they believed that they would have big consequences. There was a training camp called the Hitler Youth. Boys were taught patriotic activities and told how to eliminate their many enemies. Even people who voted for Nazis were shocked After Hitler won the election and how quickly he tightened his grip on Germany. Those who somewhat disagreed with Hitler didn’t know if their neighbor or loved one would rat them out so complaints were silent.

I and most likely others might think that fear if used with genuine intentions to help people see a serious problem that the people don’t see it’s ok but almost always if not always it is a lie to get votes and political power
