This term we will have a Social Sciences focus with our topic 'New Zealand History Time Machine'

Weeks 1 - 5: Early New Zealand
Weeks 6-10: Matariki

Students will investigate what life was like in New Zealand for the first people who lived here. This will include how they arrived, why they came here and daily life and culture. We will also explore ways the customs and traditions of Matariki and how it can be celebrated.
