Term 3 Topic: Understanding the Geography of Aotearoa

This term we will be giving students the opportunity to investigate the 'why' of how our natural environment has changed over time.

Students will be taking a geographical and scientific perspective to report back and present on significant geographical events in Aotearoa history.

Skytower Trip- Year 5 will be heading to the Auckland SkyTower in Week 5 - Tuesday 15th and Thursday 17th of August. Students will be engaging in the 'Volcanic Auckland' session; looking at tectonic plates, volcanic properties, and where Aotearoa sits in the Ring of Fire.
