Final Information for the VECF1
Proposers: Giacomo Risitano, Oleg Plekhov, Dario Santonocito, Adam Lipski .
Summary: The proposed symposium aim is to discuss about the study, development and experimental application of energy methods for stress-deformation analysis on mechanical materials and components, for the fatigue characterization of mechanical systems, for fracture mechanics and for the damage control in both static and dynamic fields. This symposium will focus on general topics associated with energy approaches to describe the fracture behavior of structural materials with emphasis on the development and application of fatigue assessment for structural integrity.Papers covering the following topics (but not limited to) are welcome:
- Thermographic Method
- Strain Energy Density
- Full-Field Measurement
- Crack Propagation
- Fatigue Crack Growth
- Stress Intensity Factor
- Multiaxial fatigue
- Connections (welded and bonded joint, …)
- Energetic release on plastic, composite and additive-manufactured materials during mechanical test
