What are we doing to support?
Language week: Pupils take part in a dedicated revision week at the end of every module to revisit and cement skills. This takes place in the final week of each module.
Exam focus: Pupils practise new AQA 2026 exam-style questions across the week, with live teacher marking to support progress.
Q1 practice: Pupils repeatedly revisit the newly structured Question 1 to ensure maximum marks can be achieved.
SQIZE sentence stems: Pupils use tailored sentence structures where needed to support writing accuracy and fluency.
Targeted curriculum: Pupils working towards grade 4 follow a curriculum designed to provide additional support and opportunities for success.
Writing practice: Pupils develop their AO6 technical accuracy and practise constructing a range of text types, with writing making up 50% of the overall GCSE.
