How to apply to Strate as an exchange student

We are excited that you're considering Strate for your exchange program. 

Below is a step-by-step guide to help you with the application process.

Nomination Deadlines:

• Spring Semester: 15 October

• Fall Semester: 15 May

Please ask your home institution's international office to nominate you as their candidate. Once nominated, we will contact you directly and guide you through the application process.

Application Deadlines:

• Spring Semester: 1 November

• Fall Semester: 1 June

You can expect a response within 15 days after the application deadline.

Required application documents:

All nominated students will receive an online application form, where they can upload the following documents :

1. Cover Letter: Explain why you are applying to Strate and your chosen study program (.pdf).

2. CV/Resume: Submit your updated CV/resume (.pdf).

3. Portfolio: Provide your portfolio (.pdf, 10 MB max) or a link to your personal website.

4. Introduction Video: A 1-minute video introducing yourself.

5. Academic Recommendation Letter: (For Transportation Design applicants only).

6. Photograph: One passport-size photograph (.jpg).

7. ID/Passport Copy: A clear copy of your ID or passport.

Important information:

• Attendance is mandatory throughout the exchange period.

• As part of the exchange program, students are required to complete a minimum of 30 European Credits (ECTS) per semester during their mobility period.

• Please note that you cannot mix courses from different specialisations within your study programme (for example, Product Design courses with Spatial Design courses), as this may lead to schedule conflicts and is not permitted under our internal regulations.
