Elementary STEM

Elementary School students learn how to problem solve and work corroboratively with their fellow classmates, while solving complex problems in STEM. In learning the design process students build their way into several projects.

Students here have learned to design, plan, and build, their own magic paint brushes.

Students were presented with the problem of creating a paintbrush that do three different things.

Students then were encouraged to test out their newly made brushes and present the projects to their classes.

Learning to build and understand about robots and how they work and help people in the real world:

Our students have multiple lessons early on with robots using our VexIQ kits.

Lessons in Literacy-

Typing skills, google applications, and online safety education are all rolled into one with our book projects. Different grades tackle different types of projects according to their grade levels. Students get typing lessons K-2nd grade. Then in 3rd grade our students get their own email and we start to teach our students internet safety and the different wonderful google applications. End of the year projects include making our own story and poem books.
