Participants in this session will discuss and plan to use strategies to embed career mindedness into their own classroom culture. The session is applicable to all grade levels for brief exposures to fun, unique or exciting activities and careers to get kids thinking about their skills and interests.

A background in school counseling brought me to special education at SLC and later, the Future Pathways Coordinator position for the Winnisquam Regional School District. These experiences, coupled with a passion for creating meaningful, individualized learning experiences for students encouraged me to develop guidance for classroom teachers to bring career awareness to the classroom in fun, approachable and unique ways.
