View Constitution Research Project Day 6 Video, about adding notes to the outline.

1. Add ALL notes to outline. Maintain the outline structure and sublevels.

2. Add the Epic! book as a second resource. You may copy and paste this book title into your outline, and underline the Title.

Documents of Freedom: A Look at the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, and the U.S. Constitution by Gwenyth Swain.

3. NOW TURN IN YOUR OUTLINE. Deadline Friday, end of day. That's when you will get a grade for what you have done for note taking.

  2. Watch the video for March 23 here. Under 5 minutes. Let me know if you cannot view it. If you need March 19, click THIS link.

  3. Finish all three subtopics A B C for your project (either Constitution or Bill of Rights ). For each of the 3 sections, you will fill out 4 index cards with facts.

  4. I have a second resources for you to use. Go to EPIC! and find Documents of Freedom. . (PS: See if the link in Google Classroom assignment works)
    Students researching the Constitution will READ pages 21-29.
    Students researching the Bill of Rights will READ pages 30-36.

  5. As you read your section of Documents of Freedom, look if there are facts you could use in your sections A B and/or C. If you need to add more cards or use paper, that's fine too.

  6. Skills: note taking, organizing information, outline, using and navigating websites

  7. **Thursday March 26 we transfer the notes into the outline. That's when you will get a grade for what you have done for notetaking.

  3. Continue researching your 3 sections of your Constitution or Bill of Rights research. For each of the 3 sections, you will fill out 4 index cards with facts. You start with my website, but you might need to find another. You will paste that website in the last section of your outline. I updated the Google Classroom assignment to show what we did so far, and dates we will try to meet. You need to be done with subtopic A and well into subtopic B.

  4. Skills: note taking, organizing information, outline, using and navigating websites

  5. **Monday is the last day to take notes. You'll be sending me images after you are done working MONDAY . So get as much done as you can.

Since you completed pages 537-539 yesterday, there are no more pages in Volume 1 of our book. YOU NEED VOLUME 2 next week! It should be picked up at school if you do not already have it. We will use Volume 2 starting Monday!

In the meantime, complete IXL skills U1, U2, U3, and U4. Some of you started on this earlier. There is also an IXL skill between U2 and U3 called "New!Graph points from a table." Complete this one as well. As always, if you get stuck, read through the instructions IXL gives you when you are incorrect and try again.

Good morning/afternoon! Today I have two things for you to accomplish!

  1. Watch this video. It's an overview of Lesson 42 with the answers. You should have page 91 done from yesterday. Make sure you have the correct answers in your Religion book.

  2. Complete the "What About Me?" wkst posted in Google Classroom. You can delete the lines on the paper when you write in your answers to make things easier. I left them so you know how much to write and where.

  1. Good morning. Get your spelling workbook and a pen or a pencil ready, and watch the video below.

  2. Read Lions & Liars, Chapters 7-8. E-mail your spelling grade and your response to the following question to me at srooney@stpaulwestlake.org. Question: In chapters 7 and 8, how did Frederick/Dashiell go from feeling the power of confidence to wanting to go home? Use at least four complete sentences. This assignment is due by the end of the day on Friday.
