Welcome back! Grades for work before the break are entered in TADS, not Google Classroom.
We will begin a two part project. We are pretending that we just discovered some new stars, galaxies, or planets and they make an interesting constellation in the sky. Today we will make the drawing. Next time we will write a story.
Go to Google Classroom. Watch my video.
Review what a constellation is.
Decide what your constellation reminds you about. You will be writing a story about it next week.
Draw black lines connecting where the stars will go.
Add stars, different sizes, different types, a certain places where we will see the stars.
Some of your stars are: Red Giant, White Dwarf, Red Dwarf, Red or Blue Supergiants, tiny Brown Dwarfs.
You will identify TWO stars, with names, and type of star. Your drawing will show the stars, the story will describe the stars, their name, and type of star.
Then add a black background to "erase" the lines, and change the order to the "back". Rename the file so it has the name of the Constellation (which is different than the name of the stars). Turn in. Work on this today.
