Multiplying fractions is the last challenge of the week. Mr. Felten shows you the process in today's video: click here

Then complete pages 741-742 and send them in (along with any other work that is missing).


Religion

We are continuing with prayer today. Please complete page 111 by writing a short sentence or two for each petition of prayer. When finished open this document. Pray the Lord's Prayer with the accompanying actions. Extra credit if you video your prayer and send it to me!


Language Arts

  1. Remember that you need to finish Follow My Leader by the end of today.

  2. Almost all of you have done this already, but, if you have not submitted the final copy of your creative writing story, please finish that today.

  3. We are having a Zoom class on Monday at 11:00 to discuss Follow My Leader and to take a final quiz.

  4. Have a great weekend!


PE

Today is a choose your own adventure kind of day. Please watch the video first in classroom and follow the links that are posted. For the activity if you don't remember the previous games played go through this week's assignments and pick your favorite game. Have a great weekend and see you Monday for our last week of PE. (:(


Science

Today make sure you watch the video posted and do digital lesson's 4 & 5 before Tuesday's class. I would recommend 3 and 6 as well but they aren't required. I would also play some of the electricity games I posted in classroom as they align with our lessons we are learning currently. Only 3 classes left and the end of the year test. See you Tuesday. Two parts to today's work:

1. Complete book pages 731 and 732 as a QUIZ. Send picture of this work to Mr. Felten when possible.

2. Get a 100 smartscore on one of the skills highlighted in the M series of IXL (8,12, or 15). Bonus given for a second or third 100 smartscore.


Religion

Today's lesson is about prayer! First: read Matthew 6: 5-13 and Luke 11:1, 9-10. Then complete page 110 of your religion book to the best of your ability. Last, take time to pray! Pray for your family, our school, church and nation.

Tissue Paper Flower Collage

I can create a close-up composition of a flower like artist, Georgia O'Keefe using tissue paper and glue to mimic the soft, translucent look of petals.

Materials: construction paper for background, leftover tissue paper, Flower reference

Georgia O'Keefe

Teacher Video 1 spray construction paper with water and manipulate with your fingers on paper with glue to create a wrinkled effect for petals if you don't have any tissue paper.

  2. Each video and set of questions earns points. Don't worry if you miss a few, just try to get them mostly right. Learn from mistakes.

  3. Keep catching up on older work, like the constellation story. Grades are entered in Educate.Tads.

We continue on to Lesson 51: Discipleship: In what ways can I be a disciple, now and in the future? Read and complete pages 108 and 109 to the best of your abilities.


Language Arts

I want you to finish reading Follow My Leader; start with Chapter 14, and read to the end of the book by the end of Friday. There are 49 pages left in the book, and you have four days to complete this assignment, so figure on about 12-13 pages per day. We will discuss and possibly have a quiz over this book next week when we have our Zoom class. There are no questions to complete; just enjoy the reading!

Language Arts

  1. Go to Classroom, and complete the assigned Diary Entry. This time, you will writing from the point of view of Mike from our story, Follow My Leader. Remember that, last week, I told you to pay careful attention to pages 125-126, where Mack was trying to explain to Jimmy how he should be more understanding of Mike. This Diary Entry will give you a chance to explain Mike's side of the story from his point of view. Finish this by the end of today.

  2. Read Chapter 13 in Follow My Leader. There are no questions posted in Classroom for this Chapter. Finish this by the end of today.

  3. I had a great deal of fun this weekend reading your creative stories. Now, there is just one thing left to do with them! I would like you to take the next two days to edit and revise so that your stories are polished. Go back and reread Document 4 for suggestions on what to do as you proofread. Finish this by the end of Tuesday.
