Hmong Level 3

Course Length:  Two Semesters (Year Long)

Hmong 3 will be taught through thematic themes and will continue to study the Hmong alphabet, phonetics, expanded vocabulary, and grammar. Themes include social relations, migration, celebrations and customs, health and healing, leisure, and culture. Students will continue to explore Hmong history, culture, traditions, and beliefs more deeply through a variety of authentic texts and cultural materials.

Through the ACTFL standards, students will develop language skills to interact and communicate effectively in multilingual communities.  We focus on five goal areas, known as the five C’s: Communication, Cultures, Connections, Comparisons, and Communities.
