Shopbot

day1- today i was thinking of ideas for what to make and i decided on making a plaque with my name on it i used the program v carve to make it

day 2 after getting the basic design finished the next steps where for preparing the settings for the shopbot so it can carve out the image then class ended

day 3- today i got started with the shop bot but all class hour we were trouble shooting the machine because the arrow keys wont move the drill bit and we found the best way was shutting of the computer all the way and of course class ended early

day 4 - today after getting the drill to move i was able to zero the X and Y axis on the drill and then get the Z axis with the plate under the drill and the clip on the black ring then the drill lowers and got the z axis then i warmed up the drill and after 9 munits i tried the air cut and it slammed right into the side and stopped, and it did that 1 more time after that them class ended again

day 5- after Mr, Kelly kindly started the drill early i was able to get straight into the day and get started i zeroed it and it did the air cut perfectly then in one swift click i started the drill process and the name was the first step and it didn't go in far so i tuned the settings and made it go .15 inches into the wood and that was a good number then all i had to do was cut the eclipse around the name and i was done it was a little off on the end but for my first time i think i did okay
