day 1- today i started a tutorial for the program solidworks
day 2- today i stated making my design its going to be a simple container the tool i used to make it was the extrude boss/base and the shell tool to make this object
day 3- today i figured out how to make the lid(left) i made the lid to perfectly match the bottom peice
then i 3d printed the project
the print time was about 15 minutes without the heating up time i think it turned out good but in the future i would make it a little bigger
one of the challenges i had to overcome is the fact that the lid on the program wanted to print at the same levle as the top lip of the box
