The StoryCorps Mobile Booth will be in Dallas in partnership with KERA
Partners, please book your appointments as early as possible and by October 15th
NOTICE: Please be aware that this Tuesday, October 15th (our first day in Dallas), StoryCorps will be launching a new online archive What does this mean for your participants? Now participants who sign a General Release for their recording are giving StoryCorps broad rights to use the recording, both "in real life" and online as signing the General Release also means the full recording will become part of our Online Archive. However, participants joining through our community partners and who sign the General Release will be set to "Private" online and can change this setting to make it more public by following StoryCorps' postrecording email, claiming their recording, then updating their privacy settings. Our staff will go over this with people after they record and we will also send them home with an informational handout, including information on how to claim their recording if they don't have email access or need support in Spanish. Please reach out to me directly with any concerns or questions you might have around your participants' privacy.
