Families and Supporters play a vital role in student success! The Family & Supporter Orientation Program will help families understand the academic and social environment at SBU, and will cover a variety of topics that may be of interest to Families and Supporters.
SBU is now your new home as well and we hope to help you get acclimated to the community!
As a result of using the orientation resources, Families & Supporters will be able to:
Identify campus resources available to students and understand how to engage with these resources
Apply knowledge of campus resources by referring their students when appropriate
Recognize and understand how families and supporters can partner with the University for student success

Throughout the weeks leading up to school starting, we offer Seawolf Q & A sessions virtually. These sessions cover various topics. Department representatives will be live to answer your questions. Sessions will be recorded so that you may watch or rewatch them.
