Scholarships

All colleges and universities in North Carolina have a scholarships tab on their financial aid webpage. Click here for a list of every public and private school in North Carolina, along with a link to scholarships offered at each institution.

The Winston-Salem Foundation has more than 140 scholarship funds that support students from Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Stokes, Surry, Wilkes, and Yadkin Counties. Students have the opportunity to compete for both need-based and merit-based awards. In order to be considered for scholarships, students must first submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The Foundation's One-Stop Scholarship Application opens on 1 January every year.
