How to Apply

The Common Application is a single application used to apply to multiple 4-year colleges. Students can check the webpage to determine whether schools they are applying to accept this application. Using the common app streamlines the process of applying to college. Students should see their counselor or the college advisor if they need assistance with the common app.

CFNC is a site where students can apply to any 2-year or 4-year college in North Carolina. However, for any schools that accept the common app, students will be redirected to that webpage to apply. During College Application Week, which CFNC holds annually, many schools waive their application fee. College Application Week is 16-20 October 2023. Students are encouraged to complete their application(s) ahead of time and save their work. They can then submit them at no cost during CAW.
