Go to the TOP RIGHT CORNER IN THE APP, THE THREE LINES OR HAMBURGER ICON.
Click membership. You can view your membership
Click manage
Scroll down and click on cancel membership.

CAN RE-OPEN THE SAME INVESTING ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY

● The family account closure is a customer-initiated process that is started by canceling their membership.
● They will be required to sell all stock in the kid’s account and transfer all funds from the savings, spending, and investing cash balance to the wallet.
● They also will be prompted to link a bank if one is not already linked and withdraw all funds from the wallet.
- The customer's membership and account will be closed immediately. They will not be able to schedule their closure for later and will not receive a refund for the remaining unused membership.
- This will close all family accounts. This includes spending, savings, investment and wallet accounts.
● When the customer submits the account closure request, they will see a closure pending message
- At that time, the Account Closure service will:
= cancel the membership
= lock the debit card
= cancel all trade requests
= close the investment accounts
= send a request to Green dot to close the savings and spending accounts.
- The parent and kids will not be able to login into the app once the account closure process has started.
● When Stockpile requests Green dot to close the kid’s bank accounts, they will put the accounts into a 60-day Customer Initiated Spend Down State.
- The accounts will be closed after the 60-day period.
