Located in the second balloon, there will be many ways of power for our colony, one of these being wind energy. Wind energy will be a great source of energy using wind turbines because of the wind on Venus, according to a 2006 study, wind on Venus can reach up the 186 miles per hour. With strong turbines we can accumulate much energy from these turbines.
Another way we could receive energy is solar power. With the extreme heat on Venus at the atmosphere, we could use the heat to power solar panels to acquire power. There are two ways we could do this, one of these ways are to drop solar panels to the Venus surface to where we will receive over 700 degrees Fahrenheit of electricity, and connect cables made out of the materials listed in the home page and have the electricity run to the colony. Also we could attach the solar panels to the colony to where we would receive about 40 degrees Fahrenheit of power but it would be easier to access this electricity.
Using this electricity we would be powering, ovens and stoves, cooling, water recycling, lights, screens, and many more.
Speaking of recycling, recycling will be a huge part of this colony. Taking in the fact that we are in space and have no other water source we would need to recycle it after we wash our hands or take a bath. Other things we will need to recycle will consist of food, one of the big ones. Food will be the most important one to recycle, while we can make more, it would be easier to eat leftovers and run out then cook more then to waste it while cooking more food.
