Living

We would like our members to be welcome and feel at home on the colony, even when they would be on a diet. For that reason, we want to have them in a bit of luxury for this trip.

Located in the top balloon, we would like to start talking about our room dimensions. The room would be a 12 x 12 x 8 foot room, enough to fit a single person relating to the fact that 12 x 12 x 8 feet is the size of the standard prison cell. Now you must be thinking, "Did they just say prison cell, I don't want to be staying in a prison cell!" While we did say the size of a prison cell, we mean a room not a cell. This room will provide restrooms, sinks, showers, beds, drawers and cabinets, food, and other things.

Also included in our living space will be public sport areas, even temperature modified sports like hockey. Sports we could include would be basketball, having multiple courts around the colony. Soccer could be another, having multiple fields, also football fields could be added along with soccer. Like we mentioned earlier, we could add temperature modified sports along with hockey, it may take some time but we could add figure skating, snowboarding, skiing, and more.

To make this trip easier for us and doing the math for it, we will have a women to men gender diversity ratio. The women to men ratio will be 5:4 taking the fact that we are planning to bring 1,000 to 1,500 people on the colony. Doing the math a 5:4 ratio almost equally divides into 1,000 and 1,500. We plan the ratio to be 5:4 so the colony would have enough biodiversity to not be wiped out by a foreign disease and enough people to work on the colony.
