Personal Development / Behaviour & Attitudes
The Spring Term has been a fruitful time for our partnership in the area of personal development, behaviour and attitudes. As a result of collaborative planning in the Autumn Term, St. Cecilia's joined St. Michael's in holding a Well-being Week at the beginning of February 2020. This coincided with National Children's Mental Health Week.

On Friday 7 February the Well-being Champions from St. Cecilia's hosted a special assembly for all pupils at St. Michael's. They gave a superb presentation on maintaining positive mental health. They presented special 'Well-being Champions' badges to the Year 6 Playground Champions. Afterwards the team from St. Cecilia's spoke to the Year 6 pupils about how to prepare well for transition to secondary school and develop healthy friendships.

Discussions on supporting secondary school transition have also continued to make good progress. A further meeting was held to plan for a co-led off-site 'Retreat' for Year 6 pupils at St. Michael's. Dates were also set for the Year 5 'Taster Day' and Open Evening at St. Cecilia's. These are currently on hold due to COVID19 and we hope to resume in time for the transition to Year 7.
