Headteacher's Message

As the respective Headteachers of St. Michael's and Saint Cecilia's, we are delighted to be sending out our Spring term 2020. It gives an update on the progress of the partnership from the start of the Spring term to date.

As the leaders of our respective schools, we are clear in our focus to ensure that our pupils and staff benefit from the expertise both schools have on offer. Our partnership is going from strength to strength working closely on curriculum initiatives as well as developing transition systems from primary to secondary school.

Key words demonstrating the successful first year are 'innovation and collaboration' between the Leadership Teams of both schools. We have continued to work collaboratively establishing regular meetings between staff, working to develop systems and planning events. Unfortunately, events planned for the Summer term are not able to go ahead at this moment in time due to the COVID19 but we hope to resume plans once the schools reopen.

Through the reading of this 'Partnership Blog' we trust that you will see how your child and the respective school communities are going to benefit and how we are laying the foundations for all pupils in our school, past, present and future to benefit from what we have on offer.

We have included in each section the partnerships key priorities for the year ahead.

As always, if you have any questions about any of the information contained here, please contact the relevant school for a further update.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish both our school communities a safe and healthy Easter tide.

Until we meet again soon, take care,

Ann-Marie Grant (AMG)
