Work independently and quietly, using your Chromebook and headphones.

STEP 1: Listen & Learn (10 mins)

Click on one of these student podcasts and listen to 5–7 minutes.

STEP 2: Brainstorm Topics (10 mins)

In your Copy, write down 5 possible podcast topics that would work for our school podcast.

Some examples to get you started:

• A teacher interview

• An event coming up

• A “How It Works” explainer

• A student sports highlight

• A kindness or wellbeing story

🎯 Try to think of topics that are:

• Interesting to others

• Realistic to record in school

• Connected to what’s happening around us

STEP 3: Develop Your Idea (10 mins)

Pick your best topic and answer these questions in your doc:

• What will your episode be called?

• What’s your hook or opening line?

• Who would you talk to or include?

• What sounds or music could you add?

• What would listeners learn or feel?
