Academic Exposure

1. Co-ordinated and organized Jashn-e-Mary's fest's department events (Pictionary & One Minute Talent Show) on 25th November, 2023.

2. The Department of English & Languages celebrated International Literacy Day on 11th September 2023. Ms. Rama Sita Kodali and Ms. G. Chris Lenina Peters coordinated the event. They went along with some students to meet children at Sri Sai Seva Sadan (NGO) Free Special School for mentally handicapped Children/ Adolescents, at AG Colony road, Erragadda, Hyderabad.

3. Conducted two series of tests on Verbal Ability being a part of Placement & Corporate Relations Cell on 29th April 2023 & 6th May 2023.

4. Collaborated with the coordinators in conducting Confluence 2023. Secured First place in Comic-Con competition which was held on 26th April, 2023.

5. Conducted a session on "How to be an active participant in  Group Discussion". Instructions were given to the students who were short-listed to attend the interview for the role of assistant. Accountant in Orica Campus placement drive. This session was held in the Digital Room at 2 p.m. on 9th February 2022.

7. As a member of the Equal Opportunity Cell designed goals and objectives for the Equal Opportunity Cell for the Academic year 2021-2022.

8. Planned events to create awareness among students and staff on Equal Opportunity Cell for the Academic year 2022-2023. 

9. Conducted a session on “Awareness on Central and State Government schemes” on behalf of the Equal Opportunity Cell for the support staff of our college on 30th December, 2022.

10. Coordinated & Organised Carol Fiesta 2022 An Inter-collegiate Carol Singing competition held on 17th December 2022.

12. Member of  Organising Committee for National Webinar on “Imparting Value-Based Education through Literature & Language” conducted by St. Mary’s College, Yousufguda, Hyderabad held on 8th & 9th June, 2020.

13. Member of Choir group, Organizing committee, and registration committee for Carol Fiesta from 2016-2019.

14. Conducted Mock interview sessions for our college students to equip them to attend an interview. It is organized by Placement and Corporate Relations Cell for the Academic year 2021-2022. (Documentation proof would be with respective cell)

1. Collaborated with the English department members to organize and conduct English Language Skills Assessment course (ELSAC) from 21st February to 27th March 2023.

2. Soft skills certificate course was organised by the Department of English & Languages in the month of April, 2018. Took a session on 'Time management' and its importance to the students.

3. Conducted a Communication & Soft skills Class for Admin Staff as a Department member of English & Languages on 4th August, 2017.

·                Basic communication, greetings and etiquette classes were taken for housekeeping & other staff.

·                Prepared material on Basic Communication which would be useful for them in their  everyday conversation.

• G. Chris Lenina Peters gave a colloquium titled: "Introducción a la lengua y cultura españolas", on 5th October 2023.

• The Department of English & Languages had a series of knowledge-sharing sessions (Koinonia). 

Took a session on 15th September 2021, on the topic, "Introduction to Spanish language & culture".  

• Invited to Judge the ASISC Regional Declamation Competition held at St. Joseph's School, Asmangh Palace, Malakpet on 29th August, 2023.
