Hollowford!

Bowling trip!

What a fantastic day we had on Friday! We had so much fun bowling, eating at McDonald's and enjoying the sunshine playing in the park. Staff at both Chesterfield Bowl and McDonald's commented on how well-behaved and polite the children were! A credit to our school and a well-deserved treat day after working so hard during their SATs. 

Science Day!

World Book Day!

The children looked fantastic in their World Book Day costumes! We had a fabulous morning looking at our class text- 'The Watertower' and had lots of fun working togther in teams to design and create their own watertower's using materials provided. We then tested each team's design to see if their watertower was at least 30cm high and could hold 100ml of water for at least 30 seconds. 

We earned the most golden tickets last term so we got enjoy a hot chocolate treat with Mrs Brown!

Santa in School!

The Combat Academy 

The children loved their martial arts taster session with the Combat Academy. They learnt about different combat stances and how to perform some basic punches, knees and kicks. 

Yorkshire Wildlife Park! 

The children loved our trip today and we were lucky enough to see so many different animals. They really impressed the staff during our educational session with their knowledge and understanding of evolution and adaptation.
