Why does population change?
The children enjoyed using a range of data collection methods to compare the environmental quality of two areas in their locality with a focus on traffic and litter. They collated their data collected from their fieldwork and wrote a report on their findings and made suggestions to improve an area.
Why do people migrate?
In our geography topic this term we have been learning about why the population changes. In this lesson, the children developed their understanding that migration can be voluntary and involuntary and that it is influenced by external factors that are environmental, economic and social.
